![]() ![]() Trillium is a composable toolkit for building internet applications with async rust. ![]() ![]() This vulnerability exists due to an incomplete fix for CVE-2023-47627. The unhandled exception could cause excessive resource consumption on the application server and/or its logging facilities. Being more lenient than internet standards require could, depending on deployment environment, assist in request smuggling. Additionally, validation could trigger exceptions that were not handled consistently with processing of other malformed input. Security-sensitive parts of the Python HTTP parser retained minor differences in allowable character sets, that must trigger error handling to robustly match frame boundaries of proxies in order to protect against injection of additional requests. Versions of TrueLayer.Client `v1.6.0` and later are not affected.Īiohttp is an asynchronous HTTP client/server framework for asyncio and Python. The issue can be mitigated by having strict egress rules limiting the destinations to which requests can be made, and applying strict validation to any user input passed to the `truelayer-dotnet` library. For applications using the SDK, requests to unexpected resources on local networks or to the internet could be made which could lead to information disclosure. The vulnerability could potentially allow a malicious actor to gain control over the destination URL of the HttpClient used in the API classes. ![]()
